Not much to see yet. In the bottom right you can see the footings for the equipment room.
That little pink peg in the ground is what we use to set our transom laser, ensuring we set the pool at the correct height.
We over-dig the pool a bit on each side so we have room to build our corral and for the plumbing that runs around on the outside of the pool.
We save some of the dirt to use as backfill. Assuming it is suitable. Clay is no good but sandy soils are ok.
Under the pool is 6-inches of pea-gravel to ensure good dranage, and a solid foundation.
You can see that the pins have been set for the corners of the pool as well as markings for the center of the pool, the transition to deep end and where the shallow skimmer is going to go.
